We are excited to announce Manresa Constructions have been awarded the contract to deliver the construction works at 211 Sydney Road, Brunswick.
We look forward to working with Excelon Projects and First Urban for the first time and are looking forward to the project team delivering another quality project in Brunswick over the next few months!
Two Eleven Sydney Road is a sustainable development by Excelon Projects in collaboration with Six Degrees Architects It fuses elements of old Brunswick, including a retained low-rise heritage facade to Sydney Road, with a new structure accommodating 21 generously sized, light-filled one, two and three-bedroom apartments.
Architecture
With the design of Two Eleven Sydney Road, architects Six Degrees Architects are establishing a new typology for residential development in Australia. It’s an approach that draws on successful precedents from the densely urbanised cities of Europe, but then adapts it to the specific conditions along Melbourne’s inner-city high streets – delivering beautiful, generous apartments with great amenity, natural light and ventilation, and delightful common areas.
Sustainability
Fundamental to Two Eleven Sydney Road, from the selection of materials to the design and orientation of interior spaces to the inclusion of solar energy generation, and water harvesting and storage. With these features and more, the building is designed and engineered to achieve 7.5-star NatHERS rating.
